Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, submitting information through our portal, scheduling an appointment, or engaging the services of Jaxx Consulting Firm (“the Firm”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, you should not use this website or obtain
services from the Firm. Your continued use of this website or our services constitutes acceptance of any updates or modifications to these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
The Firm provides tax preparation, tax advisory, bookkeeping, payroll assistance, IRS
representation, and consulting services based solely on the information provided by the client.
Services are limited to the specific engagement agreed upon and additional work requires a
separate agreement and fees.
2. Client Responsibilities
• Provide accurate and complete financial and tax information
• Provide all required tax documents (W■2s, 1099s, K■1s, statements, etc.)
• Submit final paystubs when requested
• Review the completed return before signing
• Maintain their own supporting documentation
The Firm is not responsible for errors, penalties, or adjustments resulting from incomplete,
incorrect, or late-provided information.
3. Fees & Payment Terms
Fees are earned for professional time and services and are not dependent on whether a refund is
received. Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. Refund transfers may be used to deduct fees. If a balance is due to tax authorities, service fees remain payable immediately. Additional work will incur additional charges. Unpaid balances may result in suspension of services.
4. Refunds
All fees are non-refundable once work has begun, including tax preparation, amended returns,
consultations, tax planning, and IRS correspondence review.
5. Filing & Deadlines
The client is responsible for submitting documents timely. Extensions may be filed when information is incomplete. The Firm is not liable for penalties due to late or missing documentation.
6. Audit & IRS Representation
Tax preparation does not include audit representation unless separately purchased. Representation services require a separate engagement and additional fees.
7. Estimates & Tax Outcomes
The Firm does not guarantee refund amounts, tax liability outcomes, or credit eligibility. Final results depend on tax law and client-provided information.
8. Record Retention
Clients are responsible for maintaining their own copies and supporting documentation for at least 7 years.
9. Communication Policy
The Firm communicates via secure portal, email, phone, or text (with consent). Response times
may vary during peak tax season.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Firm is not liable for disallowed deductions, penalties due to client information, third-party
software calculations, or tax law changes after filing. Liability is limited to fees paid.
11. Termination of Services
The Firm may terminate services if information is withheld, fraud is suspected, payments are not
made, or the client is uncooperative. Work performed remains billable.
12. Consent & Acceptance
By engaging services, signing the engagement letter, or submitting documents, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
